Coloured Concrete
There are two types of coloured concrete: integral colour and topical colour (called the dry shake method). Integral colour involves mixing pigment and oxide into the concrete for a rich, even colour, while topical colour applies stains or dyes to the concrete surface.
At A Better Driveway, we mix quality oxides in our integral coloured concrete to ensure the colour is permanent and does not require retouching. This omits the possibility of ‘fading’ in the future. We can create a spectrum of hues to suit any style and finish it with a high-quality sealer if you wish.
